This week is the week that many scary and freaky things happened that my friends and i faced. Both of these incidents happened in the same place, Physics Lab. It was taken place on Tuesday and Thursday. Firstly, i would like to talk on the Tuesday’s incident. As usual, we were doing our experiments and this time we’re using the transformer(giving electric current device). This transformer was connected to the socket and I being the not shallow one(haha) tested whether the device is working or not and so i tested by switching on and off quite a number of times. To my surprise, the light wasn’t on and a tremendously huge orange spark came off instead. So my whole group screamed for we never expected such thing to happened to us and we gave Mr.Hoo Hoo a shock when he heard out beautiful melodious screams. He quickly came to us and asked what happened, so I being the smart one told him that the device was not working so we screamed cause we got irritated. Reason: WHAT if he scolds us for not using it properly and ask us to pay because we ’spoiled’ it.
The next incident was taken place on Thursday and it is way way more freaky compared to the incident on Tuesday. This time we are doing experiments using the heater(it looks like an egg beater) and although it is connected to the socket, the switch WASN’T on yet. While preparing other apparatus for the experiments, the heater started glowing into bright chilli red and heat is radiated to the surroundings and i felt like a pork dancing on the barbecue griller thingy. Anyways, it was freaky lar cause the switch wasn’t on and that thing will start glowing. We stared at it for a long time not knowing what to do as we might get an electric shock if we just pull out the socket like that.
