Lately, i’m quite lazy and my fingers just doesn’t want to blog. Anyways, we had a blast 2 days ago!! we did one super-duper-great-and-you-wont-forget-it-for-the-rest-of-your-life experiment!! Boy oh boy it was sure fun till i couldn’t sleep at night as i was thinking all the fun and exciting moments me and my friends had yesterday. We were planning for this experiment a few weeks back and we couldn’t wait till the day arrives!! So as you can see, I as the lady in-charge[HAH im in-charge!! everybody bow down and listen to me!!] planned to buy everything last minute and everybody, yes including me were lazy to bring all the materials and frogs to school and did i mention to you that we are doing the dissection of frog? Yeah we are doing that btw for your information.
On friday, i was so excited till i can’t sit still the whole day and all i do was jump here and there and scream out loud ‘IM GOING TO DISSECT A FROG YIPPEEEE!!’ and yes i’m insane at that particular moment. Anyways, things changed when my bestest brother said that he couldn’t find any frogs and everybody went panicky especially me!! Then i pictured myself dissecting him but heck i didn’t dare to tell anyone about that though TILL NOW. Fortunately, we manage to get 4 bullfrogs from a restaurant for like RM50?? I know that price is insane but there’s nothing we can do at this time!! Just to make this post shorter than i wanted to brag about i’ll just show you the pictures with some stories to make this post alive:blush:
The experiment started at around 6 because our dear teacher was late for a few minutes. So while waiting for him, we girls got so bored and we started standing on chairs n did all the funny poses. Then he came in with all the tools and started drawing a picture of a frog on the whiteboard telling us what and how to dissect it. So we started off by putting the frog into sleep. I named my frog ‘baby’ so let’s address him as baby okay. I catched him out from the box with my bare hands and threw him into a plastic bag filled with tissues soaked with nail polish remover. This is to make them faint. After that, my biology teacher took one spear-like apparatus and poke straight right onto the neck just to paralyse them :yell:. Then when it’s not moving at all, my group(me,simon and yip) started to get all so excited and i got so sexcited!! I mean it’s my first time dissecting a frog after hearing all those stories from my teachers and my mum about how they dissected it. We placed it on the polysterene board and taken round-headed pins to nail its hands n legs. Like crucifying the frog rite?
We took a forceps and cut the outermost layer of the frog(the skin) with a specialised scissors. The skin was so slippery though till i couldn’t even hold it with the forceps so i ended up asking some of the guys to do it*evil grins* :dead: After cutting the skin, i realised there’s another layer of muscles before going to the organs:stress: so i asked the guys to cut it since im being nice and giving them chances to experience it themselves :left: After everything is done we took a picture of the organs before we ruined everything.

But it sounds like as if you had loads of fun dissecting the poor little bullfrog. And you sounded so sadistic in you post, and I nearly thought I’m reading another blog! (Since your posts are gentle in nature…) :cute:
I’ve never dissected a frog before. My seniors tell me that we’ll be dissecting a rat next year. Guess that will freak out most of the gals in my class :yuck: since they’re so lady-like or whatsoever.
But it really surprises me that you can put up a bravefront and dissect the frog as if nothing was going on :upsidedown: WOW that is really impressive.
The bad news - I just ate dinner when I was reading this post. Luckily I’m okay with it since even big roller coasters can’t freak me out
The good news - looks like you didn’t tamper with the poor frog. My teacher always tell me that even if we were dissecting an animal or something, we must respect it no matter what. Glad that you didn’t cut it up into small little unrecognisable pieces…
And I am trying to imagine what is the expression on your sister’s face when she reads this. Haha
oh teddy you seriously have no idea what is coming up in the 2nd half. I tell you, when u read it, u will be shocked and terrified. haha, frogsticide post, i think we are going to dissect a white mice too by october!! oh i did say sorry sorry please dont come and find me to the frog :yummy: I did scream before we did the experiment. Need to be girlish girlish abit lar kan since im from a girl school. But when we started doing it, whoa cannot tahan, got so excited then anything also can do haha

Not bad after all… you can describe the whole dissecting session very well… may be we should try other animal in our next cruel dissecting session…
