Sha Niu’s Story

WARNING!!: The warning i typed out in Part 1 is still on!! And this time it is more gruesome :yuck:

So when everything is open, we realised that the heart had already stopped beating. Well actually we sort of predicted it already as we were touching the frog’s chest whether there is any heart beat. But since it is our very first time dissecting animals, we couldn’t care less about it. But since the picture this time are extremely cruel and gruesome, just click read more if you are interested to see or you can just close your eyes throughout the whole thing haha.

After confirming the heart is really NOT beating anymore, we asked our lovely biology teacher, T.K Leong what to do next? All he said was ‘do whatever you want with the organs’. After hearing that, our minds started thinking of something, something very mean and cruel. In my group, a guy called Yip started playing with the baby’s tongue with the forceps and his fingers.

Then Simon, my sweetest brother came out with a brilliant idea!! That is to put the mentos into the frog’s mouth to the stomach throught the digestive tract. Hello!! This is not cruelty okay, it’s a way of learning ‘How the food goes into the digestive tract’.

That is a picture of the organs but most of it i’ve taken out already lar. Notice that black black thing there? It’s the ovaries, remember it!! Got one interesting story later about it.

And VOILA!! This is the picture of the mentos that has successfully entered the so called stomach which i don’t know where it is. But the point is, it’s so hard to push the mentos through the throat. So Simon use his uhm 2nd or 3rd finger to push it in haha!!

Then we cut the digestive tract and the stomach out!! It’s so small and short!!

This cruel activity [pulling the frog here and there] is obviously not done by my group, I just got the chance to snap a picture of it while the group beside me was pulling it. :grr:

Then after doing all these, we got bored and decided to try something more extreme, we turned the frog the other way around and see what can we do about it.

After thinking for so long, i decided to use a spear-like tool to dig its eyeball out, but instead of taking it out, it got stucked onto it and i keep on moving the stick until the eyeball got squashed?? I think because it’s too slippery so my experiment failed again.

So Simon decided to cut its leg out!! I offered to cut it using the special scissors given by my teacher but i can’t cut anything!! Blame my weak strength or the slippery skin of the frog. I gave up and let Simon do his thing. After some struggling he finally did it!!

I know some of you might be puking or thinking how crazy or insane I am, but trust me you might want to think again. This is the picture of the frog from the next group which i managed to snap.

Notice that all the hands and legs were cut off and misplaced?? Yeah so now you know how sweet am I. :yuck:

Before I end this long post of mine, i’ll tell you a great story that happened towards the end of the session.
Samantha from the next group dare TK Leong to eat the frog’s organs and she will eat an eyeball in return but obviously he chickened out after a while. But we seriously want to see
her eating the eyeball. To MY amazement, Simon dare her and he ate the ovaries [the black thing that i asked all of you to pay attention to just now] and Samantha ate the eyeball in just a split second. What to do, the person’s name who starts with the letter ‘S’ is always uhm daring?

However, the next 2 days after this frog dissection, i had a class with Tk Leong and obviously he would tell the whole class about the dissection class. He and his stories. :ouch: I told him that he is a chicken cause he as a teacher didn’t wana eat the organs. And so the reason he told me was because the frog’s organs contain a huge amount of parasites. *evil grins* And now i know why:evil:. But i complained that i’m still not happy with my experiment cause it failed!! I asked him to held another session again by October and this time we’re using white mice!! Weeeeee!!!! I can’t wait and before that, he dare me to eat the white mice’s organs and i accepted it!! HAH!!! It contains LESS parasites!! Can’t wait for that session to come!!
