Little little thingys

So i’m entering this competition. It’s about the best blog designs or something. So please vote for me(shaniu’s story) and my friend,Yi Ling (i speak druminese). Your votes are greatly appreciated :yummy: And then right, to vote you need to sign up which is very the mafan so i think that’s why no wonder so little contestants LOL. But anyways we all do it for fun, so my friends with blogs, go join!! I can assure you that all your designs are way better than the top fives :yummy:

So tomorrow is Cap Goh Mei which marks the ending of Chinese New Year celebration i THINK cause ppl kept on saying it’s the 14th day already!! So anyways, Cap Goh Mei is a celebration where single women throw oranges into the river to hope for a charming prince to appear in their lives. But then lately, i see all these women writing their names and contact number and all those. So i thought it was a must to write down those informations la. But the truth is, it was an act of desperation :ouch: :ouch:

I was thinking la, what will happen if some ugly man picked it up and then die la?? How to avoid?!?!?!

Then right!! Before this, i thought Cap Goh Mei is somewhere in September where we pray to ghosts… LOL im a pure chinese ok! I just can’t differentiate which celebration is for what :-P

So today it’s a school day and for my school, it’s the Jamuan Kongsi Deepa Raya Day but then my class(5U) and 5B were selected to go to this career talk in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre(KLCC). SO that means we didn’t have our parties =(

LUCKILY, we went for the talks and from there, i get to know all the informations i need on what should i do when i want to further my studies overseas and what to take this and that! Another benefit is, we get to leave early and go to Kuala Lumpur City Centre(KLCC) to eat!! We decided to have our Jamuan there instead!! Smart eh?? :yuck: :yuck:

And since it’s kongsi kongsi, Su Ning and I took a bite or two from everyone’s food!! LOL it’s KONGSI isnt it?? They OFFERED us so it’s not nice for us to reject right :dead:

Pictures will be posted up soon as i’ve not transferred to the computer yet.

Haha your observation of desperate women writing their contacts on the oranges is quite funny :cute: but instead of worrying about some ugly dude picking up the oranges (most probably rotting after getting soaked in those filthy river water… but I don’t think the desperate gals care :dead:), they’re most probably preoccupied with the scene where they imagine themselves walking down the aisle of the church being wedded to some handsome prince… and live happily ever after. Haha!

Luckily you didn’t skip the career talk! After you leave school you’ll find that many people can’t find jobs… so career talk is sort of a stepping stone for you all - introducing you to the society and make it easier and wiser for you all to select jobs
