When the clock striked twelve, i heard a knock by the window. For a second, i hesitated a little thinking that it was just a gush of wind, causing the tree branch to hit my window glass. Resuming back to my revision, i heard that loud thud again.
This time, i’m more aware that it wasn’t just a mere tree-branch-knocking-on-the-window thing. I was curious yet i’m terrified at the same time. Finally, when i’ve gathered up all the courage I had in me to check out what’s causing that loud thud, I look through the small gap in between the curtains, trying to take a peek. It was pitch black outside.
But wait, i saw something moving! Comforting myself that it was just swaying trees. I took a look back outside. TO MY HORROR, IT’S…
