I’m sure most of you already have a facebook account but have you encounter some weird friend requests before? I had this one person who added me and his profile picture was a horseface LITERALLY. 
Something similar to the bottom one but the horse face was ten times funnier, I pee-ed in my panties when i saw his picture!
And I have another one who added me just because I’m a fan of Sailormoon, what tut?
I was talking to one of my girls last night when she told me about a conversation between her and a desperate person in Facebook. After reading the conversation, I sympathise the person. Really, I do.
I’ve asked my friend for permission whether I’m allowed to attach the conversation here for you people to read and fortunately, she said yes!

Well, i won’t say that person is desperate. Nor are the people who added you cause of the sailormoon thing, or the horseface. These people just have different concepts on ‘friendlist worthiness’ compared to you all.
And they are probably also very bored. And btw, some people might find the way you put it a little arrogant sounding, me included. I’m not saying I’ve above being arrogant, but comments are for constructive opinions, right?
And well, no comment on the way that person retorted to your friend cause like I said before, different concepts on ‘friendlist worthiness’
Some people use facebook to find new friends, some people use facebook to stay in contact with old friends, some people are bored, blah blah.
Everyone is different. I respect the way you choose to work your own facebooks, and I think labeling these people ‘desperate’ is very judgemental stereotyping, don’t you?

Hi there, sorry for a bit misleading but I was referring the person from the conversation desperate not because on how he make friends but it’s more like why is he so keen/desperate to get my friend’s msn address when my friend actually said that it would be suffice chatting through facebook ‘message’.
Well I don’t take that as a full frontal rejection as she’s trying to be friendly to him as well instead of ignoring straight.
I have to admit that I’m a bit judgemental here but it’s the first impression he gave me. Oh wells, like what you said, everyone is different and I accept that.

It just so happen that one of my units that i’m doing(Communications in Business), one of my assignments focuses on the culture differences between Chinese and Westerners so yeah I got to know abit 
Haha not unfriendly lar, we could be friendly, but regarding the multi-tasking only, I think like because they’re always in a rush and in their culture they tend to do more things at once due to some concept called ’short-time-frame’ or sth(haha my brain is abit the rusty =p)
But then again, that’s just a theory but yeah you’re right in your post as well, they should just respect other people and look them in the eye unless the work they’re doing is REALLY REALLY important till they can’t look away. Nice post anyway
