After 3 long years of slacking in studies, constant worries and nags coming from my parents and sister on why is their daughter/sister not as hardworking as others, nervous breakdowns every single time during exams on why hadn’t I pay more attention in class and the endless times I told myself to ‘Just Screw It’ during exam,

I’VE FINALLY GRADUATED!!! MY GOD!!!

As I’ve intended to graduate with green hair, unfortunately it fades away so fast till just a few tiny strands of green with a whole load of golden yellow. A blessing in disguise perhaps, because it matches with the dress I’ve designed for myself perfectly along with the Curtin logo as well.

WHOSE THE BOSS NOW HUHH?!?!

Since last year, I have already picked out the flowers I wanted for my graduation day and begged my parents to get a bouquet for me. But as the time comes, my family insisted that it’s a huge waste of money spending on flowers so we’ve agreed upon getting a Koala bear for me instead to which I’m not complaining about!

Headed to uni a wee bit earlier than the graduation ceremony to have take stupid unglam pictures ourselves. But of course, with the regalia on, no matter how unglam we are, it’ll just look good HAHAHAHAHA!

Seeing how I’m not in any way going to get flowers on my graduation day, I’ve decided to bring my 95 cents flowers that I brought from Ikea! I knew it that some day, my useless buys will turn into something great!!!! Yupp, that totally felt like a Harry Potter moment with our flower wands.

Though most of our friends’ graduation ceremony falls on different dates, I’m very grateful and thankful to those who could make it yesterday. I must say that without you all, my life in uni would be much more worse than what it is today. I know that it’ll take some time for us to reunite in one place as some of you might be going away soon, but in my heart, you all have a place in it.

It wasn’t long after that we have to take our seats and wait for eternity before we can have our 5 seconds of fame on the stage. Boy I can tell you how nervous I was. During the whole 5 seconds, though it felt longer to me, my mind speaks for itself.

OH GOD PLEASE DON’T LET ME FALL, PLEASE DON’T LET ME FALL!! I’VE DONE GOOD JUST NOW BY TELLING THE GIRL IN FRONT OF ME THAT SHE HAS A STICKER ON HER ROBE. THAT’S GOOD KARMA RIGHT? OH CRAP OH CRAP, I FORGOT TO TIP MY MORTARBOARD! By then, I was already walking halfway. *STOPS and tips mortarboard* Right now I just look like an idiot. *GAH GAH GAH WHERE’S THE CAMERA THAT I’M SUPPOSED TO SMILE AT?!* oooo lala ok thank you byebye, oh gosh you have wrinkles on your face!

After the end of the ceremony, we have a 5 minutes worth of fireworks. The thing that I’m looking forward to the whole entire night!!

Got a really thoughtful and nice gift from Joy! A book filled with great inspiring quotes and a lovely graduation card! Couldn’t have make my day any better! Before I sleep, I was explaining to my dog how I’ve graduated and he just laid down his head on my knee listening to me the whole time I was talking.

It was yet another perfect day.

WHAT A BREAK!!! It’s been a month and a half long that I’ve been working my ass off in Zara so there wasn’t much time that I could use to spend my time with my beloved family and friends. I’ll leave my horrible stories from work on another post, that is if I would want to relive those moments! Also, I realised I’ve been sporadically blogging over the past few years which really shows how shallow my level of determination is wtf.

Every year, I’m always anticipating to start the Chinese New Year with a BIG BANG and this dress was just perfect in each and every way to welcome the Year of the Dragon!! Oriental print and lycra – just what I need to flatter the body well! I really love the outburst of colours on it and the quirky sleeves! I toned it down with a dusty pink heels with gold trimmings so it won’t steal the spotlight of my dress!

A few days before Chinese New Year, I’ve finally done one of the things which have always been lingering in my to-do list: Green hair!! Dyed my hair tips green and got a shaved side head again!! Hence, the punkster look I’m spotting now. I must say this was the happiest moment I’ve ever had after a haircut because usually I will be filled with regrets on my hair decisions.

On a side note, I’m glad that I’m spending my Chinese New Year in KL again this year and more importantly, I’m having my reunion dinner back in my maternal grandmother’s house for the first time for homecooked food instead. THE JOYYY!!!! Nothing beats the fuzzy feeling whenever I have homecooked food instead of chomping down the ordinary food in Chinese restaurants.

My dad and I have been putting up fake flowers onto our flowerless plants HAHAHAHHAHAHA which is rather damn sad if you think about it. Nonetheless, it looks pretty good from far and it definitely feels like it’s sakura season in my house now!

I don’t know why but my family will visit the whole family on the first day so there’s usually a change of outfit by late afternoon as it gets to hot during the festive season. Without fail, I’ll always go for something casual yet comfortable. I’ve been head over heels my high waisted black skinnies from Cheap Monday’s as these are the best jeans I’ve ever worn! I paired it with a scalloped top which reminds me of Flintstones along with my favourite and also my first Balenciaga bag that I’ve gotten when I was in Paris last year!

It’s gonna be my last week in KL for now!

Whenever the year end creeps into everyone’s lives slowly, I will cringe slightly at the thought of my birthday as I really didn’t like the number that tells how I should behave but I guess it all depends on an individual’s judgement! Buttttt I guess 21 isn’t such a bad thing, since all your presents will be tripled or quadrupled *wishful thinking!*.

For this year, I’m really grateful that my parents took the initiative to plan out a birthday party for me and even going the extra mile by giving me a key pendant necklace for my birthday present. Though it might seem cliché to some, it represents something more special than anything that anyone could ask for and for me, it is just so amazing and lucky that my parents got me this. I hadn’t had a party since I was 12 so could you imagine how nervous I was?!

On another thought, how did you like my pink lipstick? I used to hate the thought of having lipstick on my lips as I think it was suffocating in some ways but as I got older, I’m starting to appreciate the colours. Pfffttt so much for swearing that I will never ever buy lipsticks when I was younger. Look whose collecting now hahahahahha wtf!! Signs of growing up to be a young lady hey!?

It was finally time to wear the dress that I’ve bought for myself a year ago for my 21st Birthday party!! It’s the first ever designer collaboration piece that I’ve gotten for myself and the ruffles as well as the details of playfulness spells Lanvin in this dress perfectly. As a bonus, it goes perfectly well with my bright pink lipstick yummy!

For convenience sake, my parents opted for food catering with quite a good spread of food!! How I miss Malaysian food so badly especially the kuih-muihs!!!

As I’m on a budget and I really would want to have great photos to remember the night, I bought a roll of wrapping paper making ’21′ cut outs and paste it to the wall assuring to my mum that the paint will not be ripped off. Surprise surprise!! That’s the first thing that went when I peeled off the 21 HAHAHHAHAHA!!! I even suggested of leaving the cut outs on the wall like a Wall of Fame, as a reminder to them that I’ve turned 21.

Though I hadn’t seen each and everyone for quite some time, it was definitely great seeing everyone again and reminisce about the things we do from the past such as Dinosaur Game!! Goshh we’re such retards when we were young hahahhaha!!

My two favourite pair of heels! Makes everyone so tall after putting them on and I kid you not when I said it doesn’t hurt a bit!

Oh god, everytime I look at this picture, it reminds me of my sad Birthday Cake story hahahha! My parents gave me the choice of choosing my very own birthday cake so I thought I might have order the cake and collect it myself since after all, it’s my duty. On the day of collection, I was waiting for the man to bring out my cake so religiously, till when he looked at my receipt, take a look at me and asked ‘You ordered and bought the cake yourself, and you’re here to collect it yourself?’ AND HE SAID IT WITH A NASTY SMIRK!! OHMYGOD HOW DARED HE, I didn’t know how to respond as I was much in a disbelief that what he said was true and I didn’t even realized it till he pointed it out! I had to convinced myself that I was just being strictly independent!

After all those worries about how the party would go, I’m really thankful that it turned out great towards the end! I love how the the special moments are captured into polaroids and I’ve read all the mini messages that I forced most of you to write hahahhaa and it made me smile every single time I take a look at it.

Special thanks to my cousins for helping me throughout the entire night from being my very own ‘bartender’ to photographer and everything else!! I’ve got the most amazing friends as well as family whom gave me an amazing time!!

PS : Now that I’m back for another two months, it’s tough getting the jobs that I want for experience sake but that should not stop me from getting what I want. Patience, determination, and passion will keep me going on chasing the things I want in life no matter what. Whenever life brings me, I must not turn down knowledge no matter how irrelevant it may seem but who knows what that could bring you to because after all, life is full of surprises!

One of the reasons why I flew back to Malaysia in such a hurry right after my finals was partly due to my lovely cousin’s brother wedding! It has been a long time since a wedding took place in my family and I hadn’t been to a wedding ceremony for a long time!

It was held on the morning after the day I arrived so technically I only had a few hours of sleep so hopefully I didn’t look too tired!! There wasn’t much to do so I was basically there to eat all the lovely buffet spread prepared by my aunt. I felt like I had gone up to food heaven because I was Malaysian-food deprived for so long so it was gobbling non-stop and chomping madness like it was an eating competition WTF!

All the decorations down to every single detail was done by the groom’s sister/my cousin sister! I really liked the christmas tree concept but it’s hanged with wedding/love related ornaments instead such as salt and pepper bottles! Being cousins, we shamelessly took this back when she casually said that we could take some things on the tree back. Who would have known that everyone in the family would at least take a single thing! I admit that I even took a hanger!! HAHAHAHAH WHAT? It’s printed with pink polka dots all over it! HAHAHHA FAMILY -nobody knows any shame when it comes to the family.

Seeing how it’s going to be such a hot and humid like any other day in Malaysia, I opted for something casual yet airy to maximise comfort without sacrificing on the stylish factor. I’ve gotten this neon yellow pleated mermaid skirt from Azorias long ago and I thought, this could be just the perfect occasion to wear it along with my cotton ‘denim’ shirt!

Knowing I’m such an accessories kind of girl, I’m pretty obsessed with sharp and spiky things lately so it’s no surprise that you’re seeing me in this spiky necklace. Gives me a new level of attitude along with my latest haircut that I got myself right before the wedding dinner itself!

I really liked Sandy’s wedding dress that night as it really reminds me of 20s! The feather head clip to crystals and beads dangling from her sleeves, everything including the wedding was absolutely beautiful.

The dinner was held on the next day instead so there was plenty of time to get ready hahaha! Being cousins, we were given tasks to help decorate the place with balloons and leading the guests to their respective tables.

What do you think of this dress that I’ve designed myself? You could tell that I’m really liking the asymmetry trend and I really love how this dress conveys a hint of mystery from the see through chiffon.

Felt like Katy Perry that night with my new partly shaved head, blue streaks of hair ends, a soft gradient green dress along with a pair of high platform heels with a pink plastic heel at the back!

I really enjoy weddings, especially the ones from my close family ties because it’s such an amazing joy to be able to meet everyone all in one night. For years, all of us cousins hadn’t been together as everyone’s very well all over the world so I’m really glad we could sit down together and enjoy a lovely meal together!

It was Father’s Day last Sunday and thankfully I arrived in KL the day before so I’ve got the chance to celebrate this day with my dearest kesayangan Daddy!!

I definitely felt like a bimbo the other day because my Daddy had to fetch me to the hairstylist to cut my hair first hohohoho!! Mind you, my hair was as long as Rapunzel which was my lifelong dream as you can see from the narcissistic pictures above.

We Daddy brought us to Delicious because my sister and I are broke like that and because that’s one of my favourite places to have lunches at. I just realised I didn’t take pictures of my Daddy and I when it’s Father’s Day we’re celebrating. Shows how bimbotic I could get hahahahahha!!

FUHHHHH I managed to unload everything off my luggage this afternoon after 3 weeks of constant procastination! I bet you’re going to hate me because the whole main reason I cleaned up my room today was that I’m so desperate to find my $25 gift card so I could buy my long awaited body chain!!!!! AND AFTER HOURS AND HOURS OF CLEANING *so proud!* I CAN’T FIND MY GIFT CARD ANYWHERE AT ALL!! I even bend down, search under the bed etc to find for it! GAHHH!!!

Anyways!!! After just turning 20 a few months back, it never occurred to me that my friends will be celebrating their 21st birthday so soon because in my head, I JUST TURNED 20! Attending the very first 21st birthday party for the year gives me the boom boom boom feeling because I’m just so excited for my friend for God knows whatever reason that is!

It’s been awhile since I’ve met anyone from CBN considering that everybody is basically spread across the globe so I’m really thankful that I managed to see them and still catch up on where did we last left off!

Anyways, for you girls out there (or maybe some of you metrosexuals ) have you ever bought something because it suddenly strike you that THIS IS A SIGN FROM GOD?!?!

Well I had because I clearly remembered that while I was browsing Topshop website by LET ME EMPHASIZE ON THE WORD, ACCIDENT, i stumbled upon a model’s picture wearing a cropped sequined jacket and it was nowhere to be found to be on sale on the website. So I thought MMMMM that must be one of the pictures showing you THINGS-YOU-CANNOT-BUY! Mind you that was at least 3 months ago so I hadn’t put much thought to that!

Then while I was doing my usual window shopping, I found that particular jacket, LAST PIECE, 50% OFF AND IT’S MY SIZE! I mean come on, isn’t that an obvious enough HINT that I should get it? I was falling head over heels for it and YES, that’s the one I wore to Sue Anne’s birthday party!!

Just in case you couldn’t get enough of my pretty face.

Ever since Topshop has launced its cosmetic line in KLCC, I’ve been dying to get my hands on their cotton candy-ish pastel nail polish!! So bitchypeachy tone it is for Chinese New Year! The stupid thing was, when I was about to paint my nails, I realised that I still had a little bit of nail polish on my fingernails and wtf i didn’t have any nail polish remover! Took us years to get up to Genting mehh!! I’m not going to Genting on CNY E.V.E.R!

Went over all the obstacles (of phone calls and what nots) to get this baseball jacket to discovered that THIS IS NOT THE ONE I SAW FROM THE CORNER OF MY EYE WHEN I WAS WALKING IN PAVILION WEEKS AGO! But it’s okay, this is very nice too! *comforts self*

It’s pretty ironic really because my parents have been discussing to bring me all the way to Genting BECAUSE I HADN’T EAT AT THE COFFEE TERRACE FOR AGES!! 6 months past and when I’m in Genting, they decided to eat at a Chinese Restaurant instead. So much for planning WAYYYYYY ahead!!

Just right after dinner, there was a a huge crowd everywhere and sexy chubby men in uniform are not letting anyone in except ME BECAUSE I BATTERED MY PRETTY EYELASHES AT THEM! So there I was standing next to men in uniform LOL, waiting for something which I have totally no idea about for the sake of kepoh-ing! Turns out there would be fireworks boom boom boom Katy Perry!

However though, there was this one annoying girl whose behind the barrier who couldn’t stop herself from talking and acting like a MORON BECAUSE she kept on hitting the guard’s cone like as though YO YO YO THIS IS A ROCK CONCERT WHILE SCREAMING WOH WOH WOH! And then(YEA, SHE PROCEEDED TO TALK!!!!) she was talking about the WEATHER!

Crazy woman : EH CUACA SANGAT PANAS KAN? (Mind you a wind just gushed by and I was sort of freezing my ass off), sangat panas sampai saya pun ada demam.

Wtfff immediately the men in uniform walked to my other side HAHAHAHAHAHAA!!! Omg that woman is soooo weird I swear! At least she did kept my daddy and I entertained because we laughed like mad chickens after that.

Probably all I ever did was walk around like an aimless person and force my dad to take a hundred pictures of me in front of the Merry-Go-Round! Helloo!!!! BIG NEWS BIG NEWS! So I’m having an identity crisis right now. I was stalking my facebook homepage and someone was talking about the all new zodiac signs. I googled! Lo and behold, LOOK AT THIS!! I’M NOW A LIBRA WTFF!!

I probably had screwed up my biological clock a little because I’m still not asleep yet even though I have work tomorrow! But all is well because this way, I could spend time writing bits and pieces before my memory slips right off me!

I was discussing with my friends on how ironic our parents are sometimes. When you’re just a teenager, parents just hate the thought of throwing a party at home for your birthdays. Then there is a period where you just study abroad, they’ll find any nitty gritty reason to throw a party for you. Be it a party to celebrate your homecoming orrrrrrrrr your birthday which happened weeks ago! But then again, I’m eternally grateful for that.

It’s been a freaking long time since I’ve played Uno Attack and wtf I was so stressed during the time I was playing it. I think I get stressed out a little bit too easily whenever i see a ‘draw two’, HOMAIGOODD IM GOING TO GET A LOT OF WRINKLES!! But then it was definitely good fun.

As Christmas comes every year, it’s our family tradition to drop personal plans and just gathered around to berbond-bond! For me, I definitely enjoyed my Christmas this year as my parents had gotten me a bright pink Marc Jacobs’ quilted little stam bag which I’ve been eyeing on for quite some time! *KISSES TO YOU BOTH* You will see it very soon in my future outfit pictures!!

I think up to this date, he’s the best shopping partner(FOR A GUY) I ever had tee hee hee!! My faithful childish teman of mine.

Just weeks ago, we celebrated my dad’s Birthday Dinner and I FELT LIKE I’M THE BIRTHDAY GIRL LOR because everyone wasn’t even dressy dressy so sad! But nevertheless, we should dress to our best at every opportunity we get because you wouldn’t know what you might bump into! And my dearest mummy is in her baking mood lately because she baked a cake for my dad! Till then, fret not as I’m preparing for the next post already!!

Waking up at 6 in the morning for breakfast at 7am was somewhat different from my usual routine but I just love the breakfast that most of the hotels serve! Don’t laugh but I sure can’t cook scrambled eggs at home for nuts!! Luckily they serve scrambled eggs as breakfast with boiled sausages every morning (YAY FOR HEALTHY FOOD) so I was a happy girl by noon all day! Another reason contributing to my happy dilly mood was when I discovered that my sister and I wore the same purple frill top on the same day without even telling each other ahead! What a coincidence really! She was really annoyed though when others asked us about it hahahahahaha! I’m such an attention seeker wth

Okay I take that happy dilly statement back because it was drizzling most of the time which makes my picture all gloomy and depressing! And what more when I have to protect my lens from the pouring rain, hold an umbrella with my SHOULDER, having one bag on another shoulder while taking pictures?

We were driven to a few temples in the morning to get a little knowledge on religious practices done by the Japanese. I hadn’t really put much thought into what their religion is called though so I didn’t get the chance to ask Kenro-san about that. However, I’ve always love the structure of their temples! It’s so pagoda-ish!! There was this part where we had to throw some coins into a stone-brick thing which they’ve built before you pray to their God. And I like that picture of me praying(FOR REAL OKAY) cause it makes me look thin and I think I look pretty there cause you can’t see my face HAHAHAHAHA!!

In the middle of the temple, there’s a super duper heavy equipment (apparently weapons from the old times) for temple goers to give a try on lifting it. I TELL YOU I CAN NOT EVEN MOVE ONE MM OF THAT CRAZY THING!! How do people from the old times even run with it doing the Tarzan OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH while charging at their enemies? Must have been in something they ate! Tongkat Ali yooo! HAHAHAHAHAHA WTF!

Kyomizu Temple is separated into a few parts within itself, and this stone that I’m touching is only meant for singles. I’ve seen quite a number of female students particularly blindly walking for quite a few metres. Curious. I was told that the Japanese believed that if you close your eyes and walk towards to where the stone is, you touch it, you’ll find your true love without you knowing it. HAHAHAHA BULLOCKS but i did it anyway! I was supposed to think of that guy in my head while walking but when it was my turn, all I could think was OKAY WALK STRAIGHT WALK STRAIGHT DON’T LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT! I probably looked like an idiot anyway as you could see in the pictures.

In our entire journey walking through Kyomizu Temple, we were looking for this three valley/river water thingy, I forgotten what it’s called! We were told that each one of them brings different meaning which is Wealth, Love and Success or was it something else? BUT YOU KNOW LA, IT’S THOSE GOOD THINGS PEOPLE WANT IN LIFE! Upon hearing this, any sane human would obviously drink all three so three of us did, and boy oh boy those ladles sure have a long handle! I have a picture of my mum’s ladle almost poking my sister’s eye and that picture is priceless! I hadn’t got the guts to post it here yet but don’t worry, I probably will some time in the future! Anyways, so we drank all three and it just tasted like normal cold refreshing water DUH BUT IT’S OKAY, *chants wealth, love and success a million times!!*

To our disappointment, after forcing myself to drink three full ladles of water, Kenro-San told me it only works if you picked two out of the three, if you picked all three, it just shows that you’re greedy and it will only be like as though you’re drinking plain water. WTF DAMN SAD GILER BABI AFTER HEARING THAT

Right after that, we went out from the temple because we decided to just be unholy-holy again and walked around the souvenir shops probably seems like a better idea! *SHOPPING SOUNDS GOOD ALL THE TIME TO ME* Most of the time, I did my shopping with my parents alone, and when we finished trying all flavours of mochi you could ever imagine(mango, green tea, red bean, orange and etc), drank green tea, and bought japanese fans, we meet up with my sister who bought a japanese fan as well!

When we both showed which design we got excitedly, IT WAS THE SAME WHEN WE TOOK IT OUT WHAT THE HECK! Talking about the second coincidence of the day.

When you’re travelling abroad, you just got to try all the local snacks, WHAT MORE WHEN YOU’RE IN JAPAN! So I stuffed myself silly with this flat sotong-fishball and a matcha soft cream cone! My dad didn’t want one initially cause he claimed that it was such a kiddy food wtf. Having tasted mine, HE ASKED ME TO GET ANOTHER ONE FOR HIM WHAT NONSENSE! But it was THAT GOOD! Soft and creamy with an amazing hint of green tea in it. Perfection.

It’s so unfair though that my dad poses prettier than me for ice-cream!

Bought a pair of japanese soft toys which I’ve left in Malaysia sadly and I’ve found out that there’s a hold in their 50yen coin!! JAKUN!! THERE’S A HOLE IN A COIN WOHHHH!!!

Went to another temple but I was so tired from walking so much in the first one that I hadn’t really pay attention to this one. But I love the pictures taken here more than the first one though! When Kenro-San told me that we’re going for lunch and since it’s nearby we’re walking to the restaurant itself which is great cause I spotted a telephone booth earlier and I wanted to take a picture with it! Both my cousin and I ran to this booth so that we could have a few minutes of our own posing without having other people from our group giving us weird stares! But then again, I guessed they could see us from afar because they were all laughing at us while I was running like a penguin towards the phone booth!

HAH! Not so overrated isn’t it? It’s not a London telephone booth but a Japanese telephone booth!!

I’m such a special child.

Surprisingly, the dishes they served here were good!! That’s why you only get to see two cause I had turned into a lion devouring all the tasty dishes before others finish my share!

There goes our first stay of our entire trip in Osaka. On the way to the hotel, there was a whole street filled with all the luxuray brands for the tais tais with the likes of Miu Miu, Gucci, etc and just right behind is MY SHOPPING HEAVEN for the ones whose young at heart! I’ll get to that later.

I just love the streets in Japan as they are always kept clean and there’s not a SPECK OF RUBBISH IN SIGHT! The population in Japan is higher yet the level of cleanliness is way better, that’s saying something isn’t it!? I’ve heard others saying ‘Japan is so clean, it makes Malaysia/Perth looks like a rubbish dump’ hahahahha!

Anyways, we checked into a tiny hotel called ‘Cross Hotel’ right smack in the middle of the street. It was kind of troublesome getting to the entrance of the hotel as the bus stopped us in the middle of the street and we’ve got to DRAG OUR LUGGAGES crossing another street meant for cyclists! Horror!!!!!! To make things worse, it was raining that time FOL!

As we were being handed out keys to our respective rooms, Kenro-san (our tourguide) told us that he would be listening to our moans in the hallway when we are having fun with the toilet bowl! OHMYGODD HE WAS RIGHT!! I was playing with my front/back/lubangs? the MOST AWESOME TOILET BOWL CONTROLS EVER!!

There’s FREAKING TWELVE OPTIONS FOR YOU TO FIDDLE WITH! And I’ve learnt a new word from that, BIDET HAHAHAHAHHA! Wait a second, bidet means butt i think wtf. Among the buttons are the control of the water pressure to wash all your holes, adjusting the position the water secretion back and forth according to what you’re born with HAHAHAHAHA!, AND BEST OF ALL, there’s a air suction button for when after you’ve shitted, the person whose going to use the toilet next would not die inside. Plus, there’s a seat warmer too! The thing is, these toilet seats has been here in Japan for a whole 3 decades already and it’s only been introduced to Malaysia like just a few years ago? You gotta love em’ Japanese!

After hours of moaning magical discovery, we’ve came to our senses and went to the Osaka’s version of Petaling Street to have our dinner and do a little bit of our past-time favourite activity, SHOPPING!! I think my dad is only looking forward to the dinner and not the shopping bit CAUSE I SCREAMED SO LOUD AT THE SIGHT OF A 4 STOREYS OF H&M HAHAHAHAHA!!! It’s like saying ‘here comes trouble TRA LA LA’!

I love the Osaka’s ‘Petaling Street’! It’s freaking air-conditioned and it doesn’t stink and it’s filled with pretty thin people!! That was the moment I unleashed the sexy beast in me to try my luck with Japanese guys HAHAHAHAH!! But most of them either have golden long hair or harajuku screaming in them!! Where did all my hot hot boys go!!

Walking past those streets, one of the shops hidden is our place for dinner. I just love on how there’s a display of the variety of food that they serve being placed in front of the shop to attract the people walking by. Why don’t we have that when we’re play masak-masak?!?!? I only have half an egg shell and a plastic fried egg to play with last time!!

We were each given a slot to put our shoes inside. HOHOHO JAPANESE STYLE YO!! Yes I got the 96 slot because my favourite number was taken!!

Dinner awaits us as we entered into our room. As i leaped into my seat, all i thought was OMG CHICKEN KATSU, AND SALMON SASHIMI!!!!! To my disappointment, the fresh salmon slices were meant to be put into the boiling clear soup. I really liked this dinner though! It’s not something that we would usually get in the Japanese restaurants in KL or Perth. The bowl of semi-boiled egg drenched in soya sauce is meant to be poured over our hot rice which is something I’ve never tried before.But heck, I was thinking that if I’m in Japan, why not eat like the Japanese right though I remembered my mummy telling me that her father/my grandpapa used to prepare this raw egg + hot rice combo when the times weren’t so good last time.

There’s a thing I love about all cities, the beautiful lights with the hustle and bustle of people from all ages where each individual possesses a story of their own. I could just sit on the floor and people watch all night. The view of the river with lights from buildings on both sides are remarkable so i took hundreds of pictures with everyone!

After our heart-filled dinner, I’m all set and fully charged to hunt down all the bargains Osaka has to offer!

THE SHOPPING NIGHT OUT BEGINS!!

Initially, I was just walking with my family in a departmental store trying to figure on how on earth do the sales assistants have the patience to help customers try on their kimonos as it takes approximately 20 minutes to wear one on, and this girl tried on at least two to three?! I know because I entered the departmental store and walked all the floors, came back down and she’s still there!

I joined my cousins halfway because I figured that we need to come up with a strategy in this shopping war.

My cousins and I were running back and forth H&M and all the streets as we realised that the stores are going to close soon at 10pm!! Much to our horror, we grabbed all the clothes that we’ve wanted to try and just wear them over our heads as we’ve got no time to join the 20 people queue for JUST THREE FITTING ROOMS!! Mind you, each person was having at least 5 pieces of clothing!! We’ve laid out this strategy earlier on so that we could conquer as much stores as we can! I’m not being ridiculous here but 2000Yen for a piece of apparel IS REALLY CHEAP!!

Both our parents were so tired, I think they went to enjoy themselves at a dessert shop nearby H&M HAHAHAHAHA!!

Hours of major exercise definitely calls for a supper at 10pm! Kenro-san told us that there’s a stall called ‘Green Dragon’ along the food street selling one of the best ramen around! As you all may know, all the names are written in Japanese, thankfully there’s a green dragon literally next to the signboard! We ordered 3 bowls of ramen with barbecued pork for 5 person and slurp our way to the last drop! One of the best ramens I’ve tasted as the texture of the noodle was so springy I can be Super Mario X 100! But it was on the pricey side though, with a bowl costing up to 600Yen. YESS HAHAHHA I KNOW WHAT YOU’RE THINKING!! I would spend more on clothes MOST OF THE TIME, rather than on food!

Still wanting to try more snacks, my dad and I went to this takoyaki stall just right opposite and the conversation between Mr. Takoyaki Man and I can be compared to an elephant talking to a banana! I want my takoyakis! In the end, he thought I was from China, he started blabbering in mandarin! Knowing that I have the most amazing mandarin skills in the world, I replied him nicely and he understood VOILA! *okay more like I was using sign languages with my delicate soft fingers hahahaha wtf!*

That night was indeed a great start to our whole Japan tour. The best of all is that I’ve got a electric blue coat from H&M at a steal! I went to bed with all smiles and good ol’ silly dreams! I love this hotel!!! Not just for the toilet but the whole interior design of the room and there’s a store named after me downstairs at the lobby!! HOHOHHOOHO!!

Don’t you just love a healthy spread of food for breakfast the next morning? There’s more exciting things in the next day so stay tuned!

PS: Apparently, Osaka is ranked as the second biggest city in Japan!
