Although I’m always mumbling about the shit load amount of work, I’m actually looking forward to my Management and Marketing assignments. I feel so Rebecca Bloomwood-ish because for Management, I’m going to talk about Cotton On and Macbook Pro for Marketing! Pardon me for my blatant ignorance on what’s going on with Apple but I just found out that Macbook Pro is a laptop from Su Ning today. HAHAHAHAHA I thought it’s a desktop all the while. Er anyway yeah that’s the only fact I like, not how I’m going to go around it though. I still have no freaking idea on what to write!

Yes that’s baked sweet potato! A far cry from what I see in the TV apparently as said by Tian. Okay I was craving for this because I’m always seeing this poor villagers in the show eating that all the time and they seem to be enjoying it so much! Tian got it and instead of throwing it into the firewood like what we see in the drama, we just baked it. He got three of them and I got so jelak eating it after half bleagh.

AND THEN YOU KNOW WHAT?!?!!? I put on so much weight till the birds decided to turn into elephants. I was preparing for the worst when I stepped on the scale but never had i thought it would be THATTTTT bad! See those food up there? It’s not what I want or crave for anymore. MUST bloody resist. I have to say that my will power this time is stronger than ever and I’m blowing kisses to myself for it.

This is deadly. No. Serious. Not in the sense that the food is deadly. I meant that the decision to go on a diet S.E.R.I.O.U.S.L.Y. is lethal. HAH! Expected nags from everybody in the world and sudden white lies bombarding your way like ‘oh you’re thin la, you’re so skinny’. Nevertheless, I want to make myself happy OKAY!

This was the only rose that bloomed nicely among all the other rose-y plants. I spotted another two buds coming out though so let’s be patient for the other two shall we? Btw the picture is not edited at all, now worship praise me.

Knowing from the previous post on how much I love my curry, I bought a curry plant for $7 from my Uni. They have this bazaaar thingy every wednesday and a couple will come and sell lots of plants from cili padi to parsley to this that. It’s my first time buying and taking care of a plant myself, so I named it Chicken. Every evening, I’ll be out watering Chicken and counting the number of leaves and SO FREAKING LONG OKAY FOR THEM TO GROW!

Last Friday, Andrea ajaked me to go to a craft fair exhibition that was being held in Perth Convention Centre, knowing that I’m so lazy to do my assignments taking a break from all my stress, I decided why not? Upon arriving, I was astonished because I sorta underestimated Perth’s Convention Centre in terms of size, it’s bigger than what I thought it would be. Entrance fees was $15 which is a tad bit over the expensive side but considering it’s my first time going to a craft fair, it’s pretty worth it.

One of the first few stalls that grabbed my attention, I sort of freaked out secretly because I NEVER like dolls, I never play with Barbie Dolls even when I’m a small kid. Only soft animal toys and masak-masak and lego. These dolls gives me goosebumps especially when I watch movies like Seed of Chucky! Wtf okay, I remembered this particular scene when he cut the human into pieces or something, thank god that’s just a vague memory.

Bought quite a number of things when I spotted their boxes filled with goodies and they’re labelled as ‘BARGAIN BOXES’! HELLO who wouldn’t go cuckoo at the sight of that?! That’s one of my many artsy stuffs that I bought. Yes, you people will see that sign whenever I send you a card or letter from now on.

Been puppysitting one Cross Jack Russell dog for my sister and he’s so cute!! But one thing that annoys me is his HIGH PITCH VOICE omg can die! Screams like madddd and very manja! Like it’ll cry if you don’t carry him and angugu. Couldn’t stand it anymore then I decided to eat it.

YUMMY!!! Just to make my sister happy My sister cooked it.

Now now, as everyone knows I have a biggg collection of accessories, I want to show you two of latest ones. I always start my sentences with OMG, so with this, that saves me alot of energy wouldn’t it?

As promised from my previous post, i’m going to post a few pictures about the wonderful wedding I attended last month. The place is located somewhere in the winery near my house so it’s only a 10 minutes drive or so from my place. As my sister and I passed by the winery, I feel like I’m in some countryside-ish farm place. When we arrived, we were greeted by horses roaming around on a small hill and we proceeded to the garden that the wedding was held. I walked into the garden with big awe as there were so many pretty flowers and there was this big big steps!

Besides that, there’s a tree on the other side with a big swing and there’s a big pond by it. SO NICE!

Following the sound of BIG SHOOOSHHH, we spotted a big big waterfall. One thing though, it was raining the day before, so the ground was abit muddy and guess what happens when we’re wearing our heels. Yup it sank RIGHT IN.

They’re the lucky ones who got married in that beautiful garden.

It’s getting colder lately and I’m a person who dislikes the cold, so you’ll see me trying everything to warm myself up even if it’s just autumn now. And it’s so cool cause I see the girl (Poppy Moore) from ‘Wild Child’ movie wearing it. Makes you very bimbo-ish!

My sister was pestering me to cook and of course I cooked my specialty, Steamed Salty Chicken Drumstick and I stir-fry some lettuce topped with oyster sauce and fried onions. (DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT IT’S CALLED AGAIN, LIKE ONE WORD FOR IT? I’m very frustrated cause i cant find the word at the moment)

That was my best dinner ever. Some of you may know that i’m a sucker when it comes to Papadams (an Indian type of cracker) and spicy curry chicken loaded with soft mushy potatoes. I’m drooling as I’m writing this YUMS.

One thing that I like being in Curtin is that they offer a wide variety of choices when it comes to food. There’s a bar in the uni itself, a small shop which sells food like kebab, steak burger, hot dog rolls, chips rolls etc, a whole cafeteria with western stall, asian stall, salad bar, and non-halal stall, a shop called ‘Veggie Patch’ which specialises on desserts and sandwiches, Cafe Angazi which is more like a cafe shop, and many more. That was one of the sandwiches I got from Veggie Patch. It was good with the fresh slices of ham given and some mustard-ish sauce.

I bought 3 pairs of warm fuzzy wuzzy socks to keep my feet warm at night for only 6 dollars! It’s so nice I feel like putting it on my face. What I like about it is that every pair of socks comes in pink which makes me a happy girl!

Honestly, I’m not a yoghurt person but i JUST HAD TO try this! I’ve seen all the usual flavours like Strawberry, Mango, Passionfruit and all but what is this BANANA MAPLE PANCAKE flavour?! The first thing that comes into mind is a sinful stack of pancakes drizzled with maple and slices of banana around it but how could they convert all those into a yoghurt? That’s my biggest question. Of course I didn’t just stand there and think for ages, I bought two cups of it to try at home. Although my sister told me that it’s very nice, considering the fact that I doesn’t fancy bananas, the taste is a far cry from banana maple pancake to me though.

So kan, i was shopping shopping-ing one day lah with my sister and we found this box of biscuits on special and it brings back so much nostalgic memories! Okay la actually there are no memories revolving this box of biscuits but it’s part of the expression. I’ve been eating this brand of butter cookies since young and I don’t know why we stopped eating it for quite some time.

I. Finished. It. In. FIVE. days.

Oh and lookie at my nails! IT’S SO SOFT AND GIRLY!!!! I was finding for a striking pink but since this was only pink on discount, I settled for this instead. And the other WHOLE BIG REASON was because heh when Sailormoon transform, her nails colour is this pink. THERE SU NING, i’m NOT manly! I have girly nail polish.

I’m running out of breath as I’m typing this lengthy random post. Courtesy of not blogging for a whole month. I must stop this habit.

This dude plays the piano in the city everyday, and saw how his piano looked like? Yes he freaking ripped off the front part of the wood just so everybody can see how the batangs move when he plays the piano.

A meal of McDonalds after 3 months. I miss Spicy Chicken McDeluxe.

What?? What could be better than those phrases! Started the day by heading to the Curtin Bus Stop while waiting for Andrea.

Tiap-tiap hari i take bus to Uni and that’s the first thing i see. Luckily the sky is clear blue today but the weather is burning my skin off!

When i was checking out the bus timetable at the bus stop today, a woman came up to me from behind and touched my hair. Stunned. I turned around and she said, ‘I’ was walking behind you and your hair is really nice’ *smiles*. OBVIOUSLY flattered, i said ‘LIKE DUH Thank you! ‘

Got a heart attack from Andrea as she scared me from behind. Gosh today everybody has been coming up to me from behind! LOL THAT SOUNDED PRETTY DAMN WRONG?

Went up to the hostel’s kitchen place and i cut a potato, cut one onion then Andrea and I baked a cake. Okay more like we just throw a packet of chocolate cake instant mix, one egg and 3/4 cup of milk into a bowl and start mixing it with a pair of chopsticks. What shocks me was when we finished mixing and everything. they put the whole thing into a rice cooker.

FUH DISCOVERY OK, I DIDN’T KNOW PEOPLE CAN BAKE CAKE WITH RICE COOKER!! Serious, wasn’t being sarcastic. I was totally gobsmacked by that fact. And i thought i’m er kinda pro lar u know heh.

The results? Curious aren’t you?

See when they brought it out and pour some melted chocolate over it, it looks damn good and it smells good. The thing is when Andrea and I took a slice and shared [just in case haha!]. The first thing that popped up in my mind was, the texture is somewhat like ‘Dead People’s Cake’ and yes that was what I said aloud but I couldn’t find the right word to name those type of cake, you know the pink-ish one, then somebody told me it’s FATT KO. So i was thinking how is this possible?!?! Then see see, it’s baked in rice cooker, we steam rice what right, so hahaha the cake kena steamed. I know I damn potong steam right.

Camwhore moments. But wait, there’s more food!

I didn’t eat those. I just totally forgot. Bye bye supposedly balanced barbecue meal.

We barbecued these wings okay!! WHOSE THE PRO NOW HUH. Although we did Ouch Ouch Ouch abit in between but still, we’re tough girls!

Haha. I know.

There were more food actually but i was too busy being a glutton, I didn’t take pictures of sausages, hot dog rolls, and lamb chops. After all the hoo haa’s eating, had a clumsy ping pong game with Andrea and a foosball game. OMG boleh terkencing while playing.

All in all, had a really fun day today. It’s funny because not all the Malaysians there realised that Najib sudah jadi PM and we were actually arguing between the Malaysian Flag having 13 or 14 jalurs. haha we all total failure!!

That also explains of me getting fatter and fatter!! GAHH I always ask my parents and sister whether i get fatter even by a tiny one mm fatter or what and then they’ll proceed by saying ‘where got la, nonsense!’. People should stop telling white lies anymore because that’s suicidal.

Easter is coming this week and I’m already 1/4 through my 2 weeks holidays which I should be fully make use of it to do my 4 assignments which I hadn’t started any of it. Okay i planned to start on Monday though which I did, that is if you consider writing the title of the assignment counts hehe. Talking about Easter, my lecturers + tutors have been giving away free chocolates to every student in the class. I know i should be thankful and count my lucky stars that I have free chocolates to eat but geez I’m already struggling to reduce the amount of calories intake per day okay.

Anyways, my sister’s friends have been getting married lately, like uhm so far there are 3 weddings and a few more to come this year. I attended one of them in church and it was simply unique! Even the boarding pass itself is pretty damn special already. Of course I tumpang lar, got in the wrong plane, have to go back to singlehood at the moment haha. Read the boarding pass!

It’s been getting rather chilly lately so it’s an excuse for us to come up with a meal of steamboat! The reason why i put there 1/4 fuchuk because it’s more to fishcake but with a very fine layer of beancurd skin. The meat is mostly for Tian as my sister and I only ate 2 small strips. You see, Tian’s version of steamboat is mostly meat while our Malaysian version of steamboat is more to seafood. Seeing that during dinner time, I have this feeling where different people from different culture is having a meal together, diffusing both cultures and making it work together is such a lovely thing. Okay i know that doesn’t makes sense because I have no idea what i just said too but you get the drill la okay.

How many of you goes and eats Bak Kut Teh but ends up eating more of the Yau Char Kuai soaked with Herbal tea soup compared to the meat. I do. Thank God there’s a one and only place which serves yau char kuai when you made an order of Bak Kut Teh. The restaurant name is Wong’s. Jean, is that your restaurant? haha

My sister treated us to Tony Roma for her early birthday celebration this week. It’s my first time sinking my teeth into the ever famous Baby Pork Ribs, one of Tony Roma’s specialty. I didn’t finish all of them, i only managed to force 6 into my stomach and I gave the rest to Tian. It’s nice that there’s a big eater in your family whenever you can’t finish your food, you don’t have to feel bad for wasting your food because it gets eaten by someone else!

See, I DID GET FATTER RIGHT! I can feel the fat aura i tell you.

Ps : I cooked yesterday without anyone’s help. Was cutting onion till I can’t even freaking open my eyes. See usually when I cut onion back at home, I’ll wear goggles, stuff some tissue into my nostrils and breathe as little as possible. Yesterday, there was total zero kits for me to cut onion so I teared badly. I tell you, cooking a chinese dish is hard and I wonder how people get so good at it! I mean I overcooked the onion, my sister said the chicken was not really cooked but it’s OKAY and my spring onion was as lifeless as hell. Obviously i cooked up a batch of vege too.

Guess what, I told my sister that I was going to cook Kai Lan but then during dinner she told me it’s choy sum. TELL ME PEOPLE, how do you even differentiate these two?!?!?! IT’S SO GOD DAMN SIMILAR!!!
